Now and Forever
 

  Just this week,I have read a novel dealing with justice. Its about  a very beautiful couple. The man is a writer and the woman who has a business in her own, a boutique. But, the man named Ian is not really getting any from being a  writer. Instead, the wife named Jessie, is the one who is paying the bills,and everything. But, one day Jessie went out of town to get some stuff for her boutique. The husband got bored in their house,and went to a place where he can drink,and see topless waitress. Because of the alcohol he had in his body,and how he missed his wife.He saw a lady whom he had approach and ask to bring her in her place. The lady agreed with Ian,since he is a beautiful man. And when they arrived at the lady's place, they drink and got drunk. So, something happened between them. After what had happened to them,Ian went home to fetch Jessie in the airport. They were very sweet and so happy to see each other. The following day while Jessie the wife is busy with her new stuffs in her boutique,a policeman came. And asked if did somebody used her car. She answered yes, and it was her husband. Then the police got to their house and looked for Ian. Jessie is so worried on what is happening. The police got Ian, without notifying the wife Jessie. Jessie called the police to know what is happening and to know why they got her husband. The police told her that her husband was accused with rape. Jessie was so shocked since all she knows is that her husband loves her so much. Even people or the policeman cannot believe why a man like Ian could ever betrayed his wife. Such a very beautiful wife.
    So they got a lawyer. The lawyer then hired an investigator, to at-least know the intention of the victim. Because based on Ian's statement the girl willfully agreed on what they did. If they made sex, then they both agreed to do it. But,its nothing with Ian,since he really loves his wife. As the investigator, investigated the pseudo victim, she just want to make revenge to her ex-boyfriend whom have left her with nothing. And the policeman wants Ian who is in  a middle class to be in jail. To give lesson on those rich man who have raped many of the low class woman in their place and got no justice. Ian went on trial, and the pseudo victim got the sympathy of the judges,that brought Ian in the jail.
    How can we really got the justice,if we are in that situation? Is it true that its really up with our lawyers?If your lawyer is not that good, then you are telling the truth,does it mean that there is no assurance if you will win the case? Even if you are the victim? For me, the real victim in that story was Ian.Though he had lapses on being a husband but still he is the victim as the woman accused him with rape (rape is done with force) and as the policemen generalized that all middle-class man is doing like that to a low-class woman. And so was Jessie the wife. She is the one who also pays for the attorney and the bail so  Ian can go out of the jail.And be with her,as she loves her husband so much. And for her she cannot live without Ian. As Ian is her only family. She took for granted her feelings of being hurt and betrayed by her husband.She loves Ian now and forever.
